Appian Media began in 2015 when Stuart Peck and Craig Dehut were discussing the alarming rate of young people becoming disengaged with the Bible and recognized the glaring lack of biblical video that was accurate, professionally produced, and freely available. We wanted something better, not just for our homeschooled children, but for children (and their parents) everywhere. As video producers ourselves, we wondered:

The Bible is timeless, but the way that people are learning about and studying the Bible is changing. We wanted to create content that would ignite the imagination of every Bible student and help others “see the color of the black and white of the text.”
That’s why, for the past 9 years, we have made it our mission to create FREE documentaries and premium resources about the Bible lands. Our videos have helped bring to life the ancient and modern places' history, geography, and cultures - and we recognized that everyone, young and old, would benefit from this content!

In addition to our award-winning docu-series, we have created premium printed workbooks that combine all of our high-quality and biblically accurate media into a one-of-a-kind learning experience. With full-color photos, illustrations, maps, and more, each lesson also contains a QR code that leads to the corresponding video of that particular series.
